Turkish baklava — wholesale from our own production

Wholesale Turkish baklava in three lines: pistachio square baklava, carrot-slice baklava (havuç dilimi) and dry baklava (kuru baklava). The baklava is made in round 3 kg trays; each tray is packed in its own rectangular box, and the boxes go 176 to a pallet. It travels dry or blast-frozen depending on the route. We make it ourselves.

Round trays of pistachio square baklava and carrot-slice baklava on the production counter

Pistachio square baklava

Square-cut baklava: thin phyllo layers with a pistachio filling, crushed pistachio on top and a light syrup finish. The shape most baklava counters lead with.

Carrot-slice baklava (havuç dilimi)

Long wedge-shaped slices built around a thick pistachio core. The name comes from the shape: each slice looks like a cut carrot. Cut in the tray, sold by the tray.

Dry baklava (kuru baklava)

A lighter-syrup baklava with crisp, dry phyllo layers and a line of pistachio. Less syrup on the pastry, more crunch on the counter.

Packing and pallet

All three lines ship the same way: tray, box, pallet.

Euro pallet stacked with 3 kg baklava boxes, stretch-wrapped

Baklava pallet

176 boxed trays · 8 per layer · 22 layers

Tray and box
The baklava sits in a round 3 kg tray; each tray is packed in a rectangular box of about 30 × 40 cm, 6 cm high.
Per layer
8 boxes on a euro pallet (80 × 120 cm): 2 across the 80 cm side, 4 along the 120 cm side.
Layers
22, with the stack kept to about 150 cm including the pallet so it loads safely and does not tip.
Per pallet
176 boxed trays, 528 kg of baklava; about 550–600 kg gross with the pallet.
Dry or frozen

Shipped dry, or blast-frozen for long routes.

Shipped dry, the baklava keeps for more than 14 days. For long routes it is blast-frozen before loading and keeps longer. The offer states the transport temperature for your route, and whether baklava can share the load with other lines.

What to specify

Four things that fix the offer.

  • Lines — pistachio square, carrot slice or dry baklava, and trays per line.
  • Destination — port or city; it decides dry or frozen transport.
  • Quantity — trays per line; a pallet holds 176 boxed trays.
  • Label — the language for the label on the box.
