Four products behind two search terms
The first is the filled bar: milk chocolate around a thick pistachio cream, with or without toasted kadayif, 100 g, 72 per case. The second is the pistachio tablet, a solid bar studded with pistachio pieces, 105 g, 96 per case. The third is the cup: a chocolate shell filled with pistachio cream, single at 15 g, three-pack at 45 g with 144 per case, or a 75-cup display dome. The fourth is the dragée, a whole pistachio kernel panned in milk, dark or white chocolate, sold in a 3 kg bulk box, six boxes to an 18 kg case, and in retail packs. A buyer who writes chocolate-covered pistachios wants the fourth; a buyer who writes pistachio chocolate usually wants one of the first three.
Why the pistachio comes from Gaziantep
Gaziantep grows the small, dark-green pistachio that Turkish confectionery is built on. Its colour and concentrated flavour are why the cream inside the bar is green rather than beige and why the coated kernel looks different from one made with a large, pale nut. The producers we work with are in the same province as the orchards; we are an export company, not the factory, and we name the producer of each line in the offer.
Which channel takes which format
Specialty and gourmet stores take the filled bar and the cups as premium items, often under their own label. Middle Eastern and Turkish grocers take the tablet and the bar for the everyday shelf and the dragée bulk box for the deli counter. Bulk-food stores and candy shops take the 3 kg dragée box for the bin. Corporate-gift and wedding suppliers take the coated kernel in retail packs and gift boxes. A distributor serving several of these channels orders the formats together in one mixed container, each line on its own pallet with its own minimum in the offer.
Chocolate or compound, and the US label
The bar, the tablet and the dragée exist in a real-chocolate family with cocoa butter and, for some lines, a compound family with vegetable fat. Under the US standard of identity only the first may be labelled chocolate; the second is a chocolate-flavored coating. We state the family on every line because it decides the label and the summer transport: cocoa-butter lines travel at a controlled temperature, with a reefer quoted for the warm months. The Nutrition Facts panel and the tree-nut and milk allergen statements come from the producer’s data sheet, issued with the quotation.
What a first order looks like
Nobody fills a container with one pistachio product. A typical first load takes the filled bar in two or three fillings, the tablet, the cups in the display dome and the dragée bulk box, then adds Turkish delight and pistachio spread from other Gaziantep producers. Send the formats and quantities and the written offer comes within two working days, in US dollars, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, with the producer named per line and the tariff heading. Payment by bank transfer in two halves, the second against the loading photographs. Samples first, free from running production, courier at your cost. Prices are not published on the site.
Are the coated pistachios whole kernels?
Yes. The dragée is a whole Gaziantep pistachio kernel panned in milk, dark or white chocolate; it comes in a 3 kg bulk box, six per case, and in retail packs.
Is the pistachio cream in the bar real pistachio?
The cream is made with pistachio at a stated percentage plus sugar, fat and milk components; the exact share is on the producer’s data sheet that comes with the offer.
Do these products need a reefer to the US?
The cocoa-butter lines do in the warm months. Compound lines and the dragée bulk box are more heat-tolerant; the container is planned around the most sensitive line.
