What we supply to US importers
Antep Foods is a chocolate and confectionery manufacturer with its factory in the Başpınar Organised Industrial Zone in Gaziantep, Türkiye. We have been exporting since 2002. For US importers, our Turkish delight (lokum) range is made in that factory, not bought in from third parties, so you deal directly with the producer.
The range covers plain lokum in rose, lemon and mint, plus pistachio, hazelnut and pomegranate. We also make a special lokum with whole pistachio. Formats run from 250 g to 1 kg retail boxes, to 5 kg bulk trays for deli counters, and gift boxes. Private label boxes are available from 1,000 kg per line.
Everything is produced to order. After you confirm a line and approve the label, production takes about 4 to 8 weeks. We send a written offer in US dollars within two working days of your enquiry. - 12 months for our chocolate and confectionery lines, including lokum.
- Lead time
- About 4 to 8 weeks after order confirmation and label approval. Produced to order, no stock held.
- Documents
- FDA-registered factory. FSSC 22000 and Halal certificates, copies on request. Documents for FDA Prior Notice and FSVP are supplied to your importer. Kosher is not held; kosher certification can be arranged on a project basis only.
- Terms
- FOB Mersin, or CIF to a US port on request. Prices in US dollars in a written offer within two working days. Payment by bank transfer: 50% with the order, 50% before shipment.

Selling Turkish delight in the United States
- FDA Prior Notice and FSVP
- The factory is FDA-registered. Prior Notice and FSVP are handled together with your importer, and we supply the documents you need for both.
- Labels
- Label text is prepared in English for the US market. Production starts after you approve the label.
- Shelf life and planning
- Lokum has a 12-month shelf life. Because we produce to order in about 4 to 8 weeks, plan your order ahead of your busy gifting periods.
- Logistics
- Shipping is FOB Mersin by full 20 or 40 ft container, with CIF to a US port available on request. Samples come from running production; you pay the courier and the cost is deducted from your first order.

What is the minimum order for Turkish delight?
The unit of sale is one full 20 ft or 40 ft container. You can mix lines within the container, for example several lokum flavors and formats together. Private label boxes start from 1,000 kg per line.
Is your factory FDA-registered, and who handles Prior Notice and FSVP?
Yes, the factory is FDA-registered. FDA Prior Notice and FSVP are handled with your US importer, and we supply the documents required. We also hold FSSC 22000 and Halal certificates, and copies are available on request.
Is your lokum kosher?
We do not hold kosher certification. Kosher certification can be arranged on a project basis only, so if you need it, tell us at the start so we can discuss whether it fits your order.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Samples are taken from running production. You pay the courier cost, and that amount is deducted from your first order.
How long does an order take and how do I pay?
