Thailand imported around two hundred and thirty-six million dollars of chocolate and about one hundred and sixty-five million dollars of sugar confectionery in the most recent full year. Türkiye was the fourth largest source of sugar confectionery at nearly six per cent — around nine and a half million dollars a year. In chocolate Türkiye sits nineteenth at well under one per cent, but at nearly eight dollars a kilo, which is the specialist end rather than the volume end.
So the sugar-confectionery route into Thailand is already working, and the chocolate shelf is still open. The measured Thai-language demand is substantial, and the largest commercial cluster is not a finished sweet: it is วัตถุดิบเบเกอรี่, bakery raw materials, alongside ขายส่งขนม — the confectionery wholesale trade. Where a Thai buyer needs a specific halal certificate recognised in Thailand, the certificate is issued for the producing facility and the specific line — it is confirmed per line with the producer before an offer is firmed, not claimed in general.
- The label is Thai, and the importer owns it
- What goes on the pack is decided by the company that first places the goods on the Thai market — the importer. We supply the ground for it: the producer's technical data sheet per line, ingredient and allergen statements, nutrition figures and the origin declaration. Artwork in Thai is prepared on the importer's side, or by us under private label from the same data.
- Trade ground
- Türkiye and Thailand do not have a free trade agreement in force for this category, so goods enter on Thailand's ordinary applied rates. The exact rate is confirmed tariff line by tariff line with the Thai importer or their customs broker before the offer is firmed — we do not quote a duty figure we have not verified for that specific line.

Can you supply pistachio spread and kadayıf as bakery ingredients?
Yes. Pistachio spread is supplied in catering sizes for the วัตถุดิบเบเกอรี่ trade rather than only as a retail jar, and kadayıf is supplied as a component. Sizes and case configuration are given per line from the producer's specification.
Are the products halal?
They are produced in Türkiye under halal-compliant production. Where a specific certificate recognised in Thailand is needed, it is issued for the producing facility and the specific line, and we confirm it per line with the producer before the offer is firmed.
Can you work to the New Year gift season?
Yes, and it is better planned backwards. Artwork approval, production and shipping are scheduled against the season rather than started inside it, because gift demand in Thailand is concentrated rather than spread across the year.
What does a first order look like?

Do you prepare Thai labels?
Under private label we prepare the artwork from the producer's technical data sheet and Thai labelling requirements, checked on the Thai side before print. For our own lines the importer prepares the label using the same data we supply.
